Checkout Looters Caught On TV Breaking Into Stores During Hurricane Irma

While people were running for their lives  during the Hurricane Irma, some will be spending it behind cold prison walls for allegedly  stealing.

Following the order by the Governor of Florida asking everyone to evacuate during Hurricane Irma, others have lingered behind for sinister purposes as nine people have been arrested for looting in Fort Lauderdale. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The looters were caught by Local 10 News breaking into the Simon's Sportswear on Sunrise Boulevard and Powerline Road. They were seen smashing in the front window, going inside the store, and walking out with stolen goods. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They were also seen looting at a Footlocker and CashAmerica Pawn Store located in the same area.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fort Lauderdale Police tweeted about the incident and are cautioning people to remain indoors.
⠀⠀

"Going to prison over a pair of sneakers is a fairly bad life choice," said Fort Lauderdale police chief Rick Maglione. "Stay home and look after your loved once and be thankful they are all safe."
